One can exist without art, but one cannot live without it. (Oscar Wilde)
Hi, My name is Romina, I am an art historian grew up in Italy and based in London.
Art is a part of my life, I cannot live without it.
I transformed my passion in my work.
I love to visit museums, galleries, auction houses, historical buildings and cities.
What motivated me is a big need of knowledge and a sense of curiosity.
All the works of art are made with different touchable and visible materials that in the hands of an artist are transformed in portraits, landscapes, abstract arts, sculptures, installations and architectures.
You can touch or see a work of art but there is always an invisible side that raise questions and for this reason I decided to create this blog called ARTINSIDE.
ARTINSIDE is a journey in the less known aspects of a work of art, described and analysed with multiple perspectives.
London is one of the world capitals of Art and for this reason I made it the base of my researches.
My blog is divided in four sections:
-
Blog: art articles
-
Exhibitions: the best exhibitions in museums and art galleries
-
Grand Tour: a journey in the most beautiful and elegant English houses and historical building.
-
Turin Road Trip: Section dedicated to discover the beautiful artworks and historical places of Turin.
Artinside:
Good art is art that allows you to enter it from a variety of angles and to emerge with a variety of views. (Mary Schmich)
My name is Cristina, I am 37 years old and I live in Turin.
I met Romina in 2002 at the university, and since that year we continued our solid friendship.
Nowadays, I am working in a restaurant in the city centre of Turin, as a waitress.
In my free time I like doing photos, taking long walks to discover secret and hidden part of the city, and run in the park.
